The new 2024 Volvo EX90 Makes its Canadian Debut at the Toronto AutoShow

The new 2024 Volvo EX90 three-row electric SUV is currently making its Canadian debut at the Canadian International AutoShow, held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Alongside this new model, Volvo also showcases its range of electrified models, including the fully-electric XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge, alongside the plug-in hybrid XC60 Recharge and XC90 Recharge.

The 2024 Volvo EX90, a true seven-seat, fully electric SUV, boasts the highest standard safety features in a Volvo car and marks a new chapter in the brand's journey towards becoming a fully electric automaker globally by 2030. Positioned as the fourth fully electric vehicle in Volvo’s lineup, it joins the ranks of the C40 Recharge, XC40 Recharge, and the upcoming EX30.

The EX90 is built on a dedicated EV platform that provides up to 480 kilometres of emission-free driving range and offers the ability to charge from 10 to 80% in about 30 minutes, eliminating the need for luxury car buyers to compromise between practicality and full electrification.

The 2024 Volvo EX90 introduces several innovative features in terms of safety and connectivity, such as an intuitive 14.5-inch center screen with Google apps and services integrated. The EX90 prioritizes safety, with driver monitoring systems capable of identifying distractions or even medical events and intervening if necessary. As with other Volvo models, the EX90’s minimalist cabin includes a high-end Bowers & Wilkins audio system that offers a level of sound quality on par with some of the best home setups.

Emphasizing sustainability, the 2024 Volvo EX90 makes use of materials sourced from natural, recycled, and renewable sources. The available Nordico upholstery, made from recycled materials like PET bottles, and bio-attributed polymer from Swedish and Finnish forests exemplifies Volvo’s commitment to making luxury more eco-friendly by providing a premium feel and a very low environmental impact.

The 2024 Volvo EX90 will arrive later this year, starting at $110,000. Like other electric Volvo models, the EX90 will benefit from the One Price promise, which means that the price of the entry-level version is guaranteed and won’t require buyers to negotiate to obtain the best deal possible.
